New Year. New Opportunities. Inspire the Future.
District 202’s INCubator Entrepreneurship Program is entering its third year, and we’re looking for business and community members who want to make a lasting impact.
As a volunteer mentor, coach, or lending banker, you’ll help students turn innovative ideas into real-world businesses while building their confidence, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills.
“This program has been an amazing way for our business community to connect with our local high school students,” said Tasha Marsaglia, Plainfield North High School INCubator Community Champion and executive director of the Plainfield Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce. “It is a pleasure having the opportunity to partner with District 202 on this.”
Whether you can mentor a team, provide coaching, or share your business expertise, your experience can help inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Plainfield Fest is right around the corner!
This year’s celebration will include a special opportunity for children and individuals with special needs to enjoy the carnival before the crowds arrive.
On Friday, July 17, from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m., the carnival will offer a sensory-friendly hour with slower ride speeds, no flashing lights and quieter surroundings to help create a more comfortable experience for everyone.
Admission to Plainfield Fest during this special hour is free for participating individuals with special needs and their parents/guardians (ride tickets are required).
This year’s Plainfield Fest runs July 17-19.

Our administrative professionals are the backbone of this district. They are the first voices families hear when they call, the steady hands that keep our schools running, and the quiet problem-solvers who make everything work behind the scenes. Their dedication, professionalism, and care for our students and staff do not go unnoticed. You are valued, you are appreciated, and this community is better because of you. Thank you for everything you do — every single day.

We are #202proud to recognize and thank our 93 social workers for the incredible support they provide to our school community. As National School Social Work Week closes, we appreciate the vital role they play in our schools with our students, parents, and staff.
