We are mourning the loss of Tom Hernandez longtime Director of Community Relations who passed away April 15, 2024.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Glenn Wood said Hernandez was a thoughtful, caring person representing District 202 proudly and professionally.
“Tom Hernandez was a true champion for District 202 and was well known for his professionalism, positive attitude, and big heart. He was known as “The Voice” of 202 because he made the school cancellation phone calls and often served as emcee for district and other events. Hernandez’s legacy is one of compassion and community. He will be deeply missed.”

Crystal Lawns will be hosting a Chicago Bears Mini Monsters Camp for students on Friday, April 12th. Waiver forms have been sent home with every student.
Please be sure to sign and return the form to the office if you would like your child to participate.
