Created and delivered by mental health experts who are in the trenches daily helping students cope with anxiety, this powerful presentation delivers practical and proven strategies to become a better supporter - ideas you can use and share with your family, students and relatives immediately.

ABOUT OUR PRESENTERS

Angela C. Solis is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and a Certified Clinician Trauma Professional (CCTP). The owner and founder of Crossroads Counseling Services, Solis has extensive experience working with families and individuals with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and trauma. Her passion is helping others find their own light in what may seem a never-ending darkness. The human spirit is truly amazing with what it can endure. 

 

James V. Dyers, D.O., Mindful Psychiatric Services, is a board certified general psychiatrist who provides medication management and psychotherapy for clients 14y/o and up. He mainly uses cognitive behavioral therapy, but will tailor treatments to each individual client. He believes treating the person is just as important as treating the illness. His nonjudgmental approach allows for open communication leading to better outcomes and improved quality of life.
